KeyWords

They hold the key to a great traffic strategy. Pun intended.

These are the words that your Targets use to find your services. It then follows that these are words that Search Engines find to promote your site. Engines like to match Searches with Websites that use popular words.

You only have so many pages on a site that discuss your business, but they should all have a key word strategy. Search Engines give rewards for following a certain format.

The opening to load the site with more of the same keywords is Blogging. Blogs can be written at your chosen frequency and broadcast to Social Media. Links back to your site increase your popularity and Authority which Search Engines grade highly.

So if you wrote a blog a day using your keywords, you would have an additional 30 pages a month using these keywords. Search Engines also like Websites that are refreshed often. The click backs from traffic will boost your popularity with Search Engines.

This process has taken my FreightShippingSeo.com site to at least 11 page one Googles. It is easy to get “Freight Shipping plus keywords” which is called a long tail. It is more difficult when you shorten the tail to get mainstream traffic in the most popular words like “Freight” or “Shipping.”

But the long tail strategy that gave me Authority in “FreightShipping” plus keywords first, then allowed me to move to just “Freight” plus keywords and “Shipping” plus keywords.

So I started with “FreightShippingCustomerDevelopment” to get on page one Google and was able to move to “Freight Customer Development” which is a higher traffic niche.

The wholes process of attracting traffic using keywords, retaining their attention, getting them to engage, and converting them to customers can all be automated with technology in the New Media.
