Social Media Publishing
Social Media is a cultural, personal, business, and marketing phenomena.
It certainly reveals the desire for mankind to be and feel connected. Maybe it would have been just as popular 200 years ago when people could only write letters. Face Book was started by college kids for the ability to stay on top of what everyone was doing every minute. Its attraction has spread.
The concept of only having trusted people in your network who were given your personal permission to enter is the core; so is transparency. Now people want it in all their communications.
Marketers have learned that people now will only respond to information that is of interest to them and if you want interaction, they have to initiate it.
However, broadcasting information on your website, through emails, blogs, articles, videos, YouTube and other media sources can gain a loyal following. The beauty of most Social Media Publishing is that it is almost free to send it and it can have a long shelf life.
If broadcasters use keywords to reach specific niches, they can be exactly where there followers will look. Traditional marketing was never this efficient.
