Tactic

A tactic is the solution you provide to your customers.

They set goals relevant to  revenues, profits, expense reduction, inventory turn, order delivery, market share, customer share, brand awareness and so forth.

They have strategies for each. Each strategy has tactics. So if one goal is quicker order delivery they want to have better inventory management as one strategy. If you provide inventory management software or are an outsource for handling inventory, you can provide a tactic they need.

Your tactic is also a “Mover”. It will reduce, increase, grow, squeeze, expand, shrink, the problem they are trying to solve. You can “reduce” their delivery time by “improving” their inventory control.

Your marketing objective is to broadcast your “Tactic” to Targets in need of your expertise.
